Terms of Service
Last updated October 6, 2026
These terms apply when you use Pasabuy. By creating an account, or by signing in with Google, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
1. What Pasabuy is
Pasabuy is a marketplace that connects members:
- Padala: a customer who wants an item carried from A to B.
- Pasabuy: a traveler with spare baggage space who carries items for a fee.
- Pabili: a provider abroad who buys items for customers and ships them.
Pasabuy is not a courier, airline, shop, freight forwarder or customs broker. Members agree on each delivery, purchase and price between themselves. Pasabuy is not a party to those agreements and does not take possession of any item.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and able to make a binding agreement.
- Give accurate information (your real name, a working email address and phone number) and keep it up to date.
- Keep one account, and keep your password and your Google account secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Identity documents you upload must be your own, genuine and current.
3. Verification and trust signals
Chips such as “Email”, “ID provided” and the Pasabuy Verified check show what a member has provided or what has been checked. They help you decide, but they are not a guarantee of anyone's identity, honesty or conduct.
- “ID provided” means the member uploaded documents. It does not mean Pasabuy has reviewed them.
- Always use your own judgement, check reviews, and meet in safe places.
4. Sending and carrying items (Padala and Pasabuy)
- Customers must describe every package truthfully (its contents, value and weight) and must never send anything illegal, dangerous or restricted.
- Travelers should inspect each package before accepting it, and may refuse any package they aren't comfortable carrying.
- Travelers are responsible for following their airline's rules and for declaring goods to customs where required. Customers must give them accurate information so they can do so.
- Both sides must comply with the laws of the origin, transit and destination countries, including import duties and taxes.
5. Shopping services (Pabili)
- Providers buy items only after the customer has approved them and their prices.
- Providers are responsible for buying genuine, legal goods and for shipping them in line with export and import rules.
- Customers are responsible for paying for the items and fees they approved.
6. Payments
- Members pay each other directly, using the methods they agree on, such as bank transfer, e-wallet or cash. Pasabuy does not hold, process or guarantee payments.
- The payment records and proofs on Pasabuy help both sides keep track of payments. They are not proof that money was received.
- Refunds and other payment disagreements are settled between the members involved.
7. Things you must not send, carry or buy
This includes, but isn't limited to:
- Illegal drugs, weapons, ammunition, explosives, and flammable or hazardous materials.
- Counterfeit goods, and stolen goods.
- Protected plants and animals.
- Large amounts of cash.
- Anything the airline or the laws of any country on the route prohibit.
- Any package whose contents are hidden from the traveler.
8. Reviews and content
- Reviews must be honest and based on a real, completed transaction.
- You keep ownership of what you post. You give Pasabuy permission to display it on the platform so the marketplace can work.
- Don't post anything false, offensive or infringing, or another person's private information.
- We may remove content that breaks these terms.
9. Fair use
Do not:
- Harass or deceive other members.
- Take transactions off-platform in order to defraud someone.
- Collect other members' data.
- Try to get around privacy and visibility settings.
- Interfere with how Pasabuy works.
10. Suspension and closing your account
We may limit, suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other members at risk. You can stop using Pasabuy at any time and ask us to delete your account. See the Privacy Policy for what we keep afterwards.
11. Disputes between members
If something goes wrong with a delivery, purchase or payment, contact the other member first. Pasabuy may help by reviewing the transaction history, but members are responsible for resolving their own agreements.
12. Disclaimers and liability
- Pasabuy is provided “as is”. We don't guarantee that it will always be available or error-free.
- We don't guarantee the conduct of any member, or the condition, legality or delivery of any item.
- To the extent the law allows, Pasabuy is not liable for loss, damage, delay, customs seizure, or indirect losses arising from agreements between members.
- Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection law that cannot be excluded.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and tell you about important changes on the site or by email. If you keep using Pasabuy after a change, the updated terms apply.
